Kell collaborated on the project “TENECO –Sistema di Supporto alla TeleNeurochirurgia”  implemented in the Lazio Region and co-financed by the Regional Operational Program of the European Regional Development Fund 2007-2013 (POR FESR 2007-2013). The project is one of the 60 projects co-financed by the European Union’s Structural and Investment Funds at the heart of the communication campaign implemented by the Territorial Cohesion Agency and the European Commission Representation in Italy, with the collaboration of all the Managing Authorities of the National and Regional Operational Programs to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the sign of the Treaties of Rome.

The initiative is part of the celebrations for the 60th anniversary of the signing of the Treaties of Rome. A narration of images which aims to highlight and tell the concrete achievements of European policies in Italy, improving the knowledge and perception of the EU funding utility. To prove that, after all, Europe has existed and has been caring for us for more than 60 years.

The TENECO project developed and integrated specific software and protocols – in support of the neurosurgery and neurology sector – that can store, classify, research and process for medical, clinical and surgical purposes all patient data (from hospital to the final outcomes, including the rehabilitation phase). With these innovative, automated and computational analysis tools, the physician can take full advantage of the enormous scientific heritage represented by clinical data and digital images, optimizing the use of resources and healthcare.
